While that figure seemingly falls in line with other PGA Tour contests, Sea Island's Seaside coursewhere three of the four tournament rounds are heldweighs in as a par 70. The southern property is very conducive to low scores, and the players have taken advantage of the lowered defenses.
What's facilitated past success at the RSM Classic. Simple: getting it done around the dance floors. Last year's winner, Mackenzie Hughes, paced the field with a 1. That runner-ups Billy Horschel, Camilo Villegas, Henrik Norlander and Blayne Barber all turned in similarly solid efforts with the flat stick show this is one of the few events where "drive for show, putt for dough" holds true.
The professor, however, tends to favor a more aggregated approach in his picks. Kisner is a safe and smart pick, winning the event in 2016 with a T-4 in 2015 further boosting his case. Kisner hasn't made an appearance this fall, but did turn in a strong display at the Tour Championship (T-3) and played an integral part in the American blowout at Liberty National. But there are a few picks that raise some eyebrows.
Though Zach Johnson is a Saint Simons native, his outings at this event are mostly forgettable, missing the cut four times in seven tries.
His best finish, a T-12, came in 2010. Johnson has been good this fall (T-13 at the Safeway Open, T-23 last week) and does have the short-game dexterity to thrive. Nevertheless, the iffy track record gives us pause. As does Brandt Snedeker. Not only has Sea Island been unkind to Sneds (best finish is a T-32 in three events), but the veteran is making his first appearance since June, recovering from a bizarre, scary chest injury. Worse, Snedeker has undergone swing changes to address the ailment.
Admitting he's not 100 percent, Snedeker is one of our stay-aways this weekend. In terms of likes, Brian Harman tops our expert's list. Mentioned above, putting prowess will be key, an attribute that certainly applies to Harman. The 30-year-old lead the tour in total putting last season, and ranked fifth in the sg: putting. Throw in two top 10s this autumn, Harman's a sound bet for a high finish. Same goes for Webb Simpson. Open champ has finished T-12 or better in three of five appearances here, and has two top 20s in the early season.
Though he ranked 32nd in overall putting last year, his around-the-green output (14th in strokes gained, first in scrambling from the rough, fifth in sand saves) shows he has the game to excel at Sea Island. He's not exactly a sleeper pick, yet Simpson's popularity shouldn't keep you from picking him in your lineup. And run deep into it.

That sounds like good news, but it's actually less than the 4. It's not that people are shopping less or not buying as much. Instead, sales totals are being driven down by increased discounting. This holiday season growth rate is also below the expected 3. Again, that's due at least in part to intense competition between retailers driving prices lower.
While it seems like online retailers have taken a huge piece of the market, they only accounted for an estimated 10. In 2017, eMarketer expects online retail sales to grow to 11. Others, such as dollar stores and luxury are doing well. So underneath the generally positive numbers are spots of real turmoil and contraction. In addition, overall growth at physical retailers has slowed. Digital growth is being pushed by "increases in mobile commerce and the intensifying online battle between large retailers and digital marketplaces," according to eMarketer.
These predictions indicate that the slow march to more sales moving online continues, but brick-and-mortar retailers still have the vast majority of the business. That means that while many traditional physical chains will continue to suffer, there's still a significant customer base shopping in actual stores. That creates a challenge for struggling chains like Sears Holdings that may be entering a make-or-break holiday season.
Sears and Kmart need to find ways to get customers into the stores that go beyond price. That's a big challenge for the shrinking company. Chains that can give shoppers a reason to visit -- with discounts, exclusive merchandise, and even in-store events or entertainment -- still have a chance to succeed. That's going to keep getting harder as digital convenience grows, but in 2017 there remains room for some brick-and-mortar chains to grow year-over-year comparable-store sales.

Travel from stations to hotel was quite easy. We didn't need to walk far or pay for service. Hotel breakfasts were full on brunch fare in the USA that would have cost a lot. The service we received from Nordic Visitor was excellent. Our Travel consultant Sara was prompt in replying to all of our queries and more than happy to accommodate any of our requests. The information that we received to support our self guided tour around Norway was particularly useful and enabled us to make the most of our time in Norway.
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Norway and would definitely recommend Nordic Visitor to others. We loved the country of Norway - the scenery, the friendly people, the efficient public transport, the cleanliness - and would love to return some day, maybe to see the Northern Lights.
Thank you very much to Sirry for organising everything for us. She did a fantastic job, and everything went off very smoothly. We have come back to South Africa with very special memories of a wonderful holiday spent in Finland, Sweden, Denmark and Norway. Sofia was very helpful. All the hotels were close to the central train stations. I will definitely book with Nordic Visitor again next we visit the Scandinavia. Sofia was very kind and patient about my MANY questions to her via e-mail.
She was thorough with her answers, and had me well prepared for this trip of a lifetime. Having a limited amount of time there, we did not want things to hang up anywhere along the way so we appreciated that all the accommodations were worked out, the rental car was worked out. It was nice to just hand over a voucher and have things taken care of. We were pleased with the way it all worked out. We got good suggestions from our travel consultant.
It was great to have the map highlighted with the things that were important to us and the accommodations for each night.
Nordic Visitor was extremely professional and thorough in preparing us for our 14-day, self guided tour. They were very accommodating and responsive to our pre trip questions. We couldn't have been more pleased with their excellent, expert services.
I highly endorse and recommend Nordic Visitor. The tour and accommodations were very good from start to finish.
We were met with a very friendly driver to the hotel on the first day and we were checked in early for our hotel without any issues. Although all three of us were very tired, we went around Rekjavik the day we got there and everything was within walking distance.
We thoroughly enjoyed walking around the city, felt safe and enjoyed shops. Our first day on the road was also very pleasant, the rental car had ample room and we were out of Rekjavik in 30 minutes driving the Icelandic countryside. The prepared intinerary and locations suggested to visit were also very good, although we took upon ourselves to visit many many places in between to ensure we made the most of our time.
The rest of the 6 days we traveled were met with many awe inspiring scenery and none of could believe how gorgeous Iceland really was. On the way back to the Rekjavik, we were met with a friendly hotel staff and helped us get our rental car back to the rental company without any issues. Even the taxi driver was very friendly and conversational.
Everyone, and I mean everyone, everywhere, were simply delightful. All were helpful, competent and professional.Your profit or loss is calculated by multiplying the amount your market moved by the size of your position in pounds per point. We really loved Norway - Oslo, Bergen and all other stops. We also enjoyed Stockholm but found it to be just another big city - kind of like going to San Francisco, London or Berlin. They all have much in common. Gary and Sandy, United States Iceland Full Circle, June 2016 I have put comments in TripAdvisor but again, Helga was terrific. Julee and Matthew, United Kingdom Iceland Grand Tour, May 2016 Booking with Nordic Visitor was a wonderful experience. We absolutely love Iceland.
The Iceland Grand Tour was well planned by Helga. Perfect balance on the hotels. So much really useful information and tips on things not to miss.
Really helped to take the stress out of the holiday with regards to booking the hotels and allowed us to focus on seeing the beautiful nature of Iceland. Pam, Canada The Natural Wonders of Iceland, April 2016 Accommodation was better than expected and all the provided meals were top quality and representative of the country's cuisine. Too much to see and not enough time in each destination. From the booking agents help to the overall transparency and guidance in the welcome package, we felt very comfortable and safe in a new country.
Marcia, United States Iceland Full Circle - Winter, March 2016 Traditionally we book hotels ourselves when we travel. It was so convenient working with Nordic Visitor - having the route planned and the hotels booked.
Great to have the Points of Interest marked as well. We found that 10 days was a nice vacation and overview of Iceland - but not enough time to really "get to know" the country and its people.
